Race Day-Copper Classic

Race 3 of the season. What a long day! We got up around 3:00 am....................finally left around 5:30 so we would make registration at 8:00. Race didn't start until 2:00 in the afternoon and it was HOT. Even with all that we had a great time and a great race.

Keith lined up waiting for his turn to go. This race there were 11 kids in his class. All 11 are lined up in a row and go at the same time. It's kind of scary sometimes with them all going together.

This is one of those scary times. You can't see it very good in this picture but they only had a short time before a turn so they were pretty bunched up. Luckily nobody went down.

This is Keith coming down the straightaway. This was a really fast section and he was blowing through it......faster than we've ever seen him ride. Unfortunatey we didn't get a lot of pictures this time because...........Yes we've become one of THOSE parents that hoop & holler from the side.
