What a GREAT Sunday!

Today was yet another special day in the life of the Massey's. Today at Church Logan accepted Christ in his heart. We've been talking to him for a long time about what it truly means and the importance of it. This whole time we've thought it's been going in one ear and out the other. We've been real careful not to push and have him make a decision out of fear or because Dad & Mom think its important. We'll out of the blue he tugged on my shirt and asked if I would go up with him. I was so proud of him and had tears of joy running down my face.

Thank You Lord......through all the trials in our lives, days that you give us like this are truly worth it.

Another sneak peak......Ladies Tea

I had a vision in my head of what I wanted w/my centerpiece, colors, table settings & everything. But the stores are just not cooperating with me....at least not the ones I can afford. So my vision is slowly changing into somthing else. Here's another sneak peak......I know it probably doesn't make sense now but when the table is complete it will. Who knows it may be completly different by the time I'm done. I'm not thrilled with it now so I'll still be searching to find what I wanted.

Ladies Tea Coming in May

Wow lots of posts today......
So the Ladies Tea at Church is in May. Last year I hosted a table and had a really good time so I decided to do it again this year. (See old posts for pics of last years tables) I wanted to do something different this year. Last year I used a set of China my dad bought my mom when he was in Germany. So last year my table was fancy. This year I wanted to make it more spring/summer fun. I don't have everything yet but I have an idea in my head so I thought I'd share bits & pieces on my blog as we lead up to it. Here is the first piece.
I went with white so I could use this same set every year and then just change out the colors. I also went with square so it would be different than just a plain round dish. Stay tuned for more details......I'm really excited, hopefully the picture I have in my head works on the table.

Pizza Making

So it's time again to make something as a family. The cake didn't work like we thought because not all of you voted which was disappointing. That ended up as a tie. This time we decided to make pizza. Levi & Logan put a lot of effort & research into theirs. Their dough & pizza sauce was all make from scratch. Took them about 2 hours to do everything. Here are some pics of them.

Messy Pizza Makers!

Yummy!

Me & Keith decided to make a desert pizza. Since Levi & Logan had all there stuff spread out on all counters we had to work at the table.
Here's Keith adding the blueberry topping.
& here's Levi trying to sabotage our pizza w/pepperoni.
Here is our end result......and it was delicious. VERY sweet.
We always have so much fun with these little things....and of course we all love to eat you can tell by looking at us.

Little Bird

Logan saved this little bird from our dogs mouth. He has such a good heart.....although I wasn't impressed that he touched it.
